The Heffley family unexpectedly receives an inheritance, giving them a chance to make some changes to their lives. The family decides to make changes and renovate their house. They soon run into a variety of troubles. Toxic mold, disgusting critters, and rotten wood soon have Greg and his family thinking if their decision was worth it. Once again, Greg and his family's struggles catalyze a lot of humor. The way Greg and his family interact and deal with one another throughout the story also added to how engaged I was when reading the story. Overall, the Wrecking Ball is a great and funny book due to all of these elements.
