This series has potential. I very much like the setting, a small town where there are no cars on the streets, just golf carts. The people are friendly and supportive of each other. Their is a possibility of ghosts and the main character's animals, especially her dog, seems to understand her and is helpful in finding clues to the mystery. However, it took a long time to see what was developing in the plot as there were so many people who disliked the woman who was murdered and had no real alibi when she was murdered. And there seems to be a question as to whether she was murdered or not. Finally, at the end the events leading up to her death and her actual death poured out. I rated the book average but with potential.
