This movie is a delight! Do not listen to the bah humbug reviews. Any Downton Abbey fan will love to revisit the Crawley family and staff in this wonderful continuation. I saw the movie in the theatres, people applauded at the ending. I watched it again at home, and enjoyed it all over again. I look forward to the next instalment!

Very enjoyable.

I felt the movie was lacking in British temperament, as though it was written to appeal to an American audience--too "cutesy" as compared to the series. I attended the one night preview and came away disappointed. Having said that, I'll still watch it again--maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind at the time.

Dear God, this was boring. Everything was predictable. It just was an overly long episode, glad we did not pay to view it. Poor folks that did. P.S. I am...oops..was a fan of the series.

I had only seen snippets of the TV show, but still found this follow-up film accessible. I couldn't tell you anybody's name, but the film does a good job of setting up its world for new viewers. It's funny, soapy, and the cast is fantastic. If you like period British dramas, I would recommend it.

An adequate coda to the series. Fans will be happy to be reacquainted with familiar characters and attractive new ones.

I loved the series and was sad for it to end but the lives that were focused on the in the movie brought it together. I thought even with the many different "plots", each one left me feeling the lives were moving ahead. I was not expecting the dowager's ending (but no surprise), but her efforts were going to be carried on by Lady Mary. I think the sharp wit of the British was carried through especially when they got rid of the royal staff. I really enjoyed it.

Not good. Nothing going on...just getting ready for dinner with the Queen. Boring.

Phew...a lot going on here. It's as if they tried to give every character a dramatic story line. It's missing the wit & sharp dialogue you'd expect so I'd only recommend it for rabid fans of the series.

Shame on Julian fellows. This movie was writen by a two-year old. Was an avid fan of the series. But this movie was rediculous. Six subplots & he tries to solve them in the last ten minutes of the movie. And the answer for the dowager---how sad. Don't waste your time
