The Novel Art of Murder is the last book of this series for me. Too much repetition of the previous two books; for example, long introductions of people who work in the bookstore and were important in previous stories--but never appear in this one. The "historical" book she is writing when she is stressed is very, very bad, and is taking more room in each book. The Sleuthing Seniors who were so charming and interesting are just shadows now. I'll wait for her next series or stand-alone book.
I love this series. It's like visiting friends. When Sam hands out the investigating assignments, I wish I were there to get one, too. Great characters. Nice clean cozy.
