Very absorbing book. Read it over 2 nights.

I like the story of how he met and eventually married singer Carly Simon but that is not the whole story. Jim also writes of his first marriage and his son-a heartbreaking story of a healthy infant taken over by seizures who then becomes profoundly challenged for the rest of his life. He also ends years of sobriety with a crack addiction and writes of his struggle with his sexuality.

Most entertaining was Jim's introduction to Carly Simon's cast of famous characters. Going from a normal life to living on Martha's Vineyard with Ms Simon and having people like Mike Nichols, Jackie O. and Bill Clinton "stop by".

Really, really good read and I look forward to more from Jim Hart.
