This book is a must of every parent!! Chapters 17 and on especially--if this was a gem mine, it belongs in the upper echelon of things that a valuable to know as parents and should be required reading before you can leave your delivery bedside with your newborn. I'm not saying everything was easy and I am not denying some huge holes of naivity in this book at all, but what I am saying is this nugget will save some lives and make a HUGE, OVERWHELMING difference in parent-child dynamics whereever it is read and deeply accepted and practiced. May grace be with you from one mother's heart to another.

"Who am I (the parent) without my name, role, religion, or identity?" (From Chapter 17, From Role-to-no-Role, described in getting to the heart of our parent-child delimmas/crisis in America)
