The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an enormous game. From the quests to the world, the content is seemly endless. In Skyrim you play as the Dragonborn, an ancient hero with the ability to slay dragons and absorb their power. Throughout the hour’s long main story, you must face your destiny and fight a great evil that threatens to destroy the world. The story is simple but effective. The game was made by Bethesda Game Studios, the acclaimed studio responsible for such masterpieces as previous Elder Scrolls titles like Oblivion and Morrowind, and Fallout 3. All of which games won many awards. Skyrim’s gameplay has tons of options for how you want to play. You can be a magic casting wizard, a powerful axe-wielding warrior, or a sneaky cloak and dagger assassin. Skyrim is a single player game, but it is entertaining as it is. The game has many side quests, and when I say many, I mean it. Because if we put together all the side quests that the game has, it would be even longer than the actual storyline of the game. Basically Skyrim is an action packed game, with a very good storyline that anyone could enjoy. The side quests are catchy and help you to reach other goals, for example, if you want to be a mage, you go to the magic school. My recommendation on how to get the most out of this game is Never, EVER look up a guide on how to do something, how to get somewhere, etc. Always figure it out by yourself (It will give you a sense of achievement). Have fun!

Probably the best RPG ever made, for the consoles at least. There is a lot to do and you never get bored. Actually, that is putting it lightly. There is too much to do! The amount of quests in this game are insane and there are tons of ways to level up your character. When you are not doing quests you can do other things like raid bandit hideouts or explore old ruins. The game feels endless. A must play!

The graphics are OK, but I wouldn't say this game has "Intense Violence"

Totally dumbed down to appeal for the geneal public. Fun, but lacks depth.

Fantastically immersive and brings the gamer to a new level of interactivity. Truly phenomenal.
