just discovered this author and totally enjoy her books.
Well written and good plots. Better than that, her books are different.

The characters were very likeable and I could easily relate to them. Cherri had close friends who knew her well and were a bit overly protective, as really good friends should be. Baba (grandma) was a complete riot with her bold and sassy comments, and allowed the plot to explore the love, devotion and care needed when a family member has Alzheimer's. Magnus showcased the wayward father trying to reconnect with his son. The heroine, Cherri, was big, bold and beautiful young woman, raised by her Baba, who at times was a little immature and a bit sulky. Colin, with his enticing Irish brogue and randy, bad boy image, falls head over heels for Cherri, despite their 12 year age difference. Always the one to love 'em and leave 'em, he has a hard time learning to express his true feelings. In Cherri and Colin's case, both of them struggle to grow up emotionally but their strong desire (and lust) for each other overcomes almost every obstacle.
