Great fun to watch, loved the singing and dancing sequels!

GOOD 1945 first pairing of Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. The film is a bit long and their later two films together 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' and 'On the Town' got increasingly better (practice makes perfect?). But there are some great song/dance sequences in this one. it's worth a watch (but do be prepared for the 2:20 length); i'm glad I've now seen all three.

This film is corny, moves slowly, and is too long, but the singing and dancing are great, especially when Gene Kelly dances with Jerry the Mouse.

Great fun, and the animated sequences have aged well. Frank Sinatra was a better dancer than I had expected him to be.

I love this movie! I first saw it back in the early 90s, after learning that Dean Stockwell was in it. He was just a nice bonus to both Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. This movie is a classic, great for the whole family, it was good, clean, fun and hysterical. I have only seen it the one time, but ran across it on tv last night and had to watch. But since it was on very late, I only watched a little bit, but it was more than enough to remind me of how funny this movie is and how much I loved it.

From the heart of a lonely poet, came a song for the girl he adored. 'Tho she tried very hard not to show it, she was terribly, terribly bored.
