It's an amazing book with a lot of truth I have to be honest tho the love interest was a little surprising but I believe it fit the character well. Meaning, she was able to take a keep outside her comfort zone wich is what has helped her with developing her character.

Great read for a broard range. Elise was written well as a character, making her very real and able to relate or feel for her even if she is different in personality to yourself. The relationships of all characters were done really well and you could feel connected to others in the story not just Elise.

I thought the last paragraph was perfect. She got a clarity and wisdom from her experience that some would take longer to really cement and although a little predictable I found the ending was satisfying and emotional, I felt proud for her and surprised on her confidence I wish I had that type of confidence as a self-critical type especially while doing what she did but as a book not a biography of someone I thought it was done really well and really honestly, including capturing and setting the scene of the different parts of her life well.

I liked and disliked this book. I'm glad I read it, the book wasn't bad. But I got bored while reading it, so I didn't continue. A week or two later, I started reading it again and I finished it. Like I said, I'm glad I read it but it's not one of my favorites.

This book is one of the most relatable books for teens that I have read in a while. It deals with tough subjects of suicide, fitting in and cyber bullying in a moving, insightful, inspiring and often comedic way. I highly recommend this book!

I'm not even sure where to begin. Elise is so real and suffers from such a painful combination of self-scrutiny, naivety about others, and deep convictions about what's really important in life and who is really on her side, half of which are wrong--I was rooting for her so hard from the very start and I couldn't look away until the very end, though I flinched pretty hard several times along the way. A great read.

"Sometimes people think they know you. They know a few facts about you, and they piece you together in a way that makes sense to them. And if you don't know yourself very well, you might even believe that they are right. But the truth is, that isn't you. That isn't you at all." -- Elise Dembowski
