Another good read by Marta Perry. I've read several of her books, now, and have enjoyed everyone of them.

I LOVED this book! Very well-written and convincing. I learned a lot about the Amish and found the characters really relatable. Near the end I felt so anxious when Pete showed up. I could visualize everything that happened as if I were there, which for me is a sign of an excellent storyteller. Can't wait to read more from Marta Perry!

Anna's Return: Pleasant Valley Book Three by Marta Perry
I am very happy to say ,another satisfying book in this series
Anna's Return was another 5-star read for me! I really enjoyed the development of the romance between Anna and Samuel. Samuel was a great hero, who I had no trouble falling for myself!

I really liked the way the author had the Bishop tell Anna not to be in a hurry to go before the church with a confession. She realizes later after a lot of maturing that he was so right to tell her that because a confession and pledge for the church at that time would have been phony and not from the heart, plus she had not yet comes to terms with IF she really even intended to stay!

Enjoyed having the characters from previous books here too.
