Another coffee table book on architecture that demonstrates that form overrules function (for instance, most are not accessible by the handicapped). The floor plans are too small to be intelligible and relate to the interior photographs. The book lacks an index of contents.
It's really cool to see how some of the architects featured in the book managed to fit essentials into such small spaces. Makes you realise how much we take our spatious living arrangements for granted and how we could do a lot more to reduce our carbon footprint.
Great pictures and very neat ideas. The only thing I would say would be that I wish they had included more floor plans of the little houses.
Great little book, full to bursting with innovative, space-saving design.
