I have read the previous 3 Cobbled Court novels and really liked this one the best so far. I immediately liked Madelyn and Tessa and love the members of the Quilt Club. This novel has a bit of Christian values and a message to it, which is a good thing and something I really enjoy.

I liked her first three books, but this one was disappointing. The character of Madelyn was so flawed in the beginning, and yet she changed so rapidly which was not very realistic or believable. There was also too much preaching about religion which I thought was out of place. I actually looked at the copyright page to see if it was classified as Christian fiction. I'm not anti-religion in any way, but I don't like feeling like I'm being preached to in a novel. I hope her next novel is better.
