A sharp, really quite brilliant and even thoughtful masterpiece of a genre that Fleming elevated to a new stature. A very good read indeed, that has passed the test of time with top marks, especially because of its elegant, classy, style that is such a trademark of well-educated British authors in general and Ian Fleming in particular. An excellent book to be put into the hands of young and old.

I liked this book. The last few chapters had some acronyms I didn't understand, but other than that, it was enjoyable. A bit different than the movie.
